The scale of Anime X Game Festival 2026 (AGF 2026) has grown significantly.
According to the AGF Organizing Committee on the 5th, AGF 2026, which is celebrating its 7th year since its first hosting in 2018, has finalized its lineup of exhibitors ahead of its opening on Friday, December 4.
The total number of exhibitors for this year, which have been revealed sequentially through official SNS since October 19, stands at 106 companies. This is an increase of approximately 49% compared to the 71 companies that participated last year. This represents the largest number of exhibitors in the history of AGF, demonstrating the growing interest and demand for subculture content every year.
This year, a diverse range of companies, including domestic and international game developers, animation distributors and producers, MD and figure brands, publishers, virtual creator agencies, and content educational institutions, are participating to complete an even richer lineup of content.
The background behind the expansion of this year's exhibitor scale to a record high is the expansion of the exhibition space.
AGF 2026 has secured additional exhibition area equivalent to half a hall by converting part of Hall 5 (Hall 5A) of KINTEX Exhibition Center 1—which was used as a waiting area for visitors last year—into a formal exhibition space this year. As the demand for participation has been so high that applications closed early for two consecutive years in 2025 and 2026 due to the intense participation heat relative to the space, this expansion provides a foundation for more exhibitors to meet visitors.
Along with the increase in the number of exhibitors, the diversity of participating fields is also noteworthy.
Looking at the composition of the 106 official exhibitors based on the exhibitor classification released on the official AGF website, game companies account for 34.0% of all exhibitors this year, MD and figures for 22.6%, animation for 9.4%, and publishing for 9.4%, while virtual, other fields, and sponsors account for 24.6% across multiple genres.
In particular, in addition to game companies and MD/figures, more diverse subculture genres such as animation, publishing, and virtual content account for 37.7%, completing a more balanced lineup.
AGF 2026, the representative festival for subculture fans in Korea, will be held from Friday, December 4, to Sunday, December 6, 2026, at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1 in Ilsan, and is expected to welcome visitors with even more special and diverse content.
