Terms of Service

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by NBNTV, including the multilingual service global.nbntv.co.kr.

Article 1 Purpose

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to stipulate the terms and conditions for use, procedures, rights and obligations, and other necessary matters for customers (hereinafter referred to as "Members") using all services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") provided by NBNTV (hereinafter referred to as the "Company").

Article 2 Validity and Amendment of Terms

  • Services are provided on the condition that the Member accepts the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions. A Member is deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions at the moment they click the "Agree" button during membership registration.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall take effect upon being publicly announced online.
  • The Company reserves the right to arbitrarily amend these Terms and Conditions if there are unavoidable reasons for such changes. The amended Terms and Conditions shall take effect upon being announced online.
  • If a Member does not agree to the amended Terms and Conditions, they may request to withdraw from membership. If the Member continues to use the Services after the effective date of the amended Terms and Conditions, they shall be deemed to have agreed to the amendments.

Article 3 Supplementary Rules

Matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea.

Article 4 Conclusion of Use Agreement

  • The use agreement is established when the Company accepts the Member's application for membership.
  • The Company may reject a membership application if the contents of the application are false or if the applicant violates any prescribed matters.

Article 5 Termination of Use Agreement

  • A Member may request the termination of the use agreement with the Company at any time.
  • Upon receipt of a Member's request for termination, the Company shall process the withdrawal of the Member and delete their personal information, except for cases specified in relevant laws and the Privacy Policy.
  • The Company may terminate, restrict, or suspend the use agreement without prior notice if a Member engages in conduct that violates Article 9 (Member's Obligations).

Article 6 Services

The Company provides the following services:

  • News services
  • Video services
  • Bulletin board services
  • Survey services
  • DB services

The Company may add, change, or delete the contents of the services if necessary.

Article 7 Obligations of the Company

  • The Company shall make its best efforts to ensure that services are provided continuously and stably.
  • In principle, the Company provides services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, services may be temporarily suspended due to unavoidable reasons such as regular maintenance, natural disasters, or emergencies.

Article 8 Protection of Personal Information

  • The Company shall not disclose or distribute the personal information of Members collected in connection with the Services to a third party without the prior consent of the individual. However, this shall not apply if there is a request from a relevant authority in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • The Company shall announce matters regarding personal information, including the Privacy Officer, in a separate "Privacy Policy."

Article 9 Member's Obligations

  • The responsibility for managing IDs and passwords lies with the Member.
  • A Member may not transfer or lend their ID to a third party.
  • A Member must notify the Company immediately if their ID is used unauthorizedly.
  • Members must ensure that there are no falsehoods, errors, or omissions in the items entered during membership registration.
  • Members shall not engage in acts that infringe upon the rights or copyrights of third parties.
  • Members must comply with the matters prescribed in these Terms and Conditions and relevant laws, and shall not engage in any other activities that interfere with the Company's business.
  • Members may not engage in any profit-making activities using the Services without the prior consent of the Company.

Article 10 Copyright

  • The copyright for all services of the Company belongs to the Company, the content providers, and the advertisers. All such works are protected by the Copyright Act and relevant laws. They may not be reproduced, published, transmitted, distributed, broadcasted, or otherwise used, nor may they be made available to third parties, without the prior consent of the Company, content providers, or advertisers. Any infringement of copyright in these works is subject to relevant laws.
  • The Company bears no responsibility for the content posted by Members in news comments, bulletin boards, etc., within the Services.
  • The Company shall announce other matters regarding copyright in a separate "Copyright Protection Policy."

Article 11 Miscellaneous

These Terms and Conditions have been prepared based on the standard terms and conditions of the Fair Trade Commission.
