Nongshim Welch's partners with PUBG: Battlegrounds
Nongshim is launching a summer collaboration between Welch's soda and PUBG: Battlegrounds, featuring limited edition packaging and supply crate sets.
NBNTV = Jung Chang-gyu. Nongshim announced on the 14th that it is launching a summer collaboration between its Welch's carbonated beverage brand and the battle royale PC shooting game 'PUBG: Battlegrounds' (hereafter Battlegrounds). The company aims to expand consumer touchpoints by leveraging the synergy between Welch's, a staple in PC cafes, and the massive Battlegrounds player base.

As part of the campaign, Nongshim will release a limited edition 'Welch's Grape PUBG Edition' featuring Battlegrounds-themed packaging to provide fans with unique collectible value. The product will be available at retail stores nationwide.
To celebrate the partnership, the company is also releasing a limited edition 'Welch's X PUBG Supply Crate' set. Inspired by the 'Supply Crate' found in the game, the set includes Welch's beverages, limited edition merchandise, and game item coupons. The Supply Crate set will be available for a limited time starting at 11 AM today on the official 'Nongshim Mall' online store.
Offline events will allow gamers to experience the collaboration firsthand. Through the 27th, customers who purchase Welch's at seven 'Nongshim RedForce PC Arena' locations—including the Gangnam Station and Busan Seomyeon branches—as well as 'PUBG Seongsu' in Seoul, can receive scratch coupons for game items and Nongshim 'Dakdari' snacks.
Additionally, the company plans to host the 'Welch's Cup Battlegrounds Tournament' in early September to promote the brand to players and content creators.
"Welch's is a representative beverage in PC cafes, and we have prepared various programs—from product purchases to offline experiences and gaming tournaments—so that the brand can be enjoyed alongside Battlegrounds," a Nongshim official stated. "Moving forward, Welch's will continue to implement marketing that naturally integrates into the daily lives and culture of young consumers."
