Galleryt to Participate in 2026 Daegu International Art Fair, Showcasing Works by 8 Artists
Galleryt presents '8 ARTISTS, 8 PERSPECTIVES' at the 2026 Daegu International Art Fair (DIAF), featuring diverse works from 8 talented artists.
Eight artists, who express daily life, nature, and the human inner self through different perspectives, will gather in Daegu. Galleryt, which showcases a wide range of works from painting to metal sculpture, is participating in its third art fair this year to introduce the works of artists active both domestically and internationally.

Galleryt will participate in the '2026 Daegu International Art Fair (DIAF)' held at the Daegu EXCO East Hall from the 29th to November 1st.
This marks the agency's third art fair participation this year, following the Busan International Gallery Art Fair (BAMA) and Sculpture Art Seoul (PLAS). Galleryt will present the works of eight artists: Kang Min-ki, Kang Sun-mi, Kim Young-gon, Kim Woosol, Albert Kywi, Jeong Woo-jae, Janice Chae, and Jo Won-deuk.
The exhibition theme is '8 ARTISTS, 8 PERSPECTIVES.' Through paintings and sculptures that traverse fact and imagination, as well as tradition and modernity, the exhibition introduces the individual expression methods and artistic worlds of each artist.
Jeong Woo-jae expresses the emotional bond between humans and animals by introducing unrealistically large animals into everyday landscapes. His work is characterized by constructing scenes where reality and imagination coexist through detailed depictions of light and space.
Jeong has held 25 solo exhibitions domestically and abroad, including London and New York, and has participated in the Korea International Art Fair (KIAF), Art Miami, and the LA Art Show. His works are held in collections such as the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Art Bank and the Mimesis Art Museum.
Janice Chae paints landscapes where traditional architecture, modern cities, nature, and cultural symbols harmonize, based on her experiences and memories in Korea and the United States.
Inspired by Korean folk paintings and the traditional French decorative style 'Toile de Jouy,' she combines digital work with acrylic and gouache techniques. In this exhibition, she will present new works where images of Seoul and New York overlap.
Janice Chae participated in the media art for '2025 Seoul Light Gwanghwamun' and has also collaborated with corporations such as Amorepacific and Samsung Life Insurance. Kang Sun-mi and Kim Woosol introduce different painting works centered on color.
Kang Sun-mi expresses the serene atmosphere of moonlight and natural landscapes by layering multiple colors. Kim Woosol presents works that reinterpret everyday subjects, such as plants and still lifes, through color and composition.
Albert Kywi and Kim Young-gon deal with human identity and life through images of people.
Albert Kywi poses questions about social identity and individual uniqueness through his 'First Spirit' series, in which he paints his own face without looking in a mirror.
Kim Young-gon utilizes the texture of woodblocks to depict people on the streets and dreaming figures. His work captures both everyday scenes and the wishes held by individuals.
Jo Won-deuk presents landscape works that cross the boundary between abstraction and figuration using a fine-line technique of repetitive, thin strokes.
Kang Min-ki will exhibit sculptural works that combine various colors with steel, a metal material. His work utilizes the contrast between the physical properties of hard metal, color, and form.
Jo Yeon-su, the chief curator of Galleryt, stated, 'At BAMA and PLAS, we confirmed the possibility of artists with different personalities meeting their own collectors. For this DIAF, rather than following a single trend or taste, we prepared an exhibition where the perspectives of the eight artists are fully revealed. We hope visitors start from a piece that catches their eye, discover the artist's story, and find a work that can stay with them for a long time in their daily lives.'
The Galleryt exhibition can be viewed at booth C02 in Halls 4, 5, and 6 of the Daegu EXCO East Hall.
