Stray Kids dominates global charts with new album 'THIS & THAT'

Stray Kids has taken over major domestic and international charts with the release of their first 2026 album, 'THIS & THAT'. Released on August 7, the mini album simultaneously hit number 1 on the Hanteo and Circle real-time album charts on its release day. The global response was immediate; the album topped iTunes Album charts worldwide and in Europe, as well as the Apple Music Album charts in Europe. As of the morning of the 8th, the group has achieved number 1 on iTunes Album charts in 32 regions worldwide, including Canada, Brazil, and France.

The music release performance of the title track 'This & That' mirrors the album's success. Immediately following its release, the song climbed to number 1 on the Bugs real-time music chart. Overseas, it also secured the top spot on iTunes Song charts in various regions, including Argentina, Peru, and Singapore.

Eight hip-hop tracks produced by 3RACHA

At the heart of this new album is the group's in-house producing team, 3RACHA. They directly produced the title track 'This & That', which was the most meticulously crafted among the eight songs included in the mini album. The track is a hip-hop-based song that maximizes Stray Kids' signature Chill and Cool atmosphere, characterized by addictive melodies and witty lyrics.

Stray Kids showcased their first comeback stage on KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' on the 7th, delivering a performance that added a fresh dimension to their signature 'Skz' style. JYP Entertainment released behind-the-scenes cuts of the 'This & That' music video on the morning of the 8th. The footage captured the team chemistry of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N, alongside intense individual shots of the members.

The impact of the group's video content is reflected in the numbers. As of 7 PM on the 7th, the 'This & That' music video reached number 1 in YouTube Music Video Trending in 25 regions, including the US, Australia, Brazil, and Canada. It also ranked number 1 in worldwide trending.

The success of the new album leads directly into their world tour. Following their Seoul performances, Stray Kids is currently conducting their new world tour 'RUN IT'. At the end of this month, they will hold a solo concert at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo, making them the first overseas male artist to do so. In September, they are scheduled to perform at the Brazilian music festival 'Rock in Rio' and their own festival, 'STRAYCITY'.
