Nongshim engaged Gen Z fans at UAE Comic Con in Abu Dhabi, showcasing Shin Ramyun through interactive booths and limited edition merchandise.
NBNTV = Jeong Chang-gyu. Nongshim participated in the Middle East's largest pop culture festival, MEFCC (Middle East Film & Comic Con, hereafter UAE Comic Con), to connect with global Gen Z fans through its flagship K-ramen brand, Shin Ramyun.

Nongshim announced on the 14th that it successfully operated a Shin Ramyun snack booth at UAE Comic Con, held from September 11 to 13 (local time) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) in the United Arab Emirates.
UAE Comic Con is the largest entertainment expo in the Middle East, bringing together global fans and pop culture icons from film, TV, animation, comics, games, and cosplay, typically attracting over 45,000 visitors. Following its participation in Gamescom in Germany last month, Nongshim has solidified its identity as a global lifestyle brand that integrates Shin Ramyun with diverse cultural elements.
Nongshim showcased a Shin Ramyun brand promotion booth at the event. The booth featured various interactive elements, including a photo zone, a merchandise shop, and a 360-degree camera zone. The booth walls, which displayed a wide range of Shin Ramyun products, served as trendy photo spots for visitors to share on SNS, gaining significant popularity. Limited edition goods, such as Shin Ramyun keyrings and stickers, also drew high interest from local attendees.
Outside the venue, a food truck featuring a Shin Ramyun snack concept allowed visitors to sample the product. The tasting zone featured a large Shin Ramyun cup sculpture to attract visitors' attention.
“Following the enthusiastic response at Comic Con, we plan to introduce special Shin Ramyun brand concept displays in major supermarkets across the Middle East this October,” a Nongshim official stated. “We will continue to expand touchpoints with global consumers, including those in the Middle East, through localized marketing activities tailored to the region.”
