JH Solution begins field testing AI for labor and safety monitoring

A new suite of Artificial Intelligence (AI) services designed to inspect labor-related documents and identify industrial accident risks is entering the field verification stage at actual workplaces. The verification covers various employment and labor sectors, including the inspection of labor contracts and wage statements, the identification of risk factors at worksites, and the prediction of high-risk workplaces for industrial accidents.

JH Solution announced that it will officially begin field verification in August for these AI services, which were developed through the Public AX Project hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency.

The project is being conducted as a consortium led by JH Solution, with participation from NexV and White Scan. The Ministry of Employment and Labor is participating as a collaborative ministry. During the verification phase, the consortium will test the utility of these services and their potential for policy application at actual labor and industrial sites.

The services being developed by the consortium include JH Solution's autonomous inspection of basic labor standards and industrial accident risk factors; NexV's training for actual and near-miss accidents and risk alerts for workers with disabilities; and White Scan's safety guides for delivery riders and prediction of high-risk workplaces for industrial accidents.

JH Solution's autonomous inspection service allows users to upload labor-related documents, such as labor contracts and wage statements, to check for mandatory entries and regulatory compliance. The service is also being developed to analyze photos of worksites to identify industrial accident risk factors and provide necessary corrective measures and guidelines.

Field verification will be conducted according to the specific usage environment of each service. JH Solution's autonomous inspection and NexV's accident training services will be verified at workplaces including Cheongjeong Food, Eco & Solution, and Global Biotech. The risk alert service for workers with disabilities is scheduled to be tested with approximately 100 workers with disabilities.

White Scan's high-risk workplace prediction service is being developed for use by the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency. Additionally, the delivery rider safety guide app will analyze the working environments of platform workers using GPS driving data to confirm its practical applicability.
