Vestella Lab prepares for China expansion with Shanghai Space Tech

According to Vestella Lab on the 2nd, the two companies plan to introduce solutions based on Vestella Lab's spatial recognition and indoor positioning technology to China. They intend to identify joint business opportunities targeting major Chinese landmarks and establish a cooperative framework to expand their local market presence.

Shanghai Space Tech develops and supplies AI-based autonomous driving technology and various robot platforms, providing mobile robot solutions including autonomous vehicles, AGV, UGV, and delivery robots.

The company is also pursuing global expansion by combining AI technology with local supply chains to provide customized solutions for different regions.

Through this collaboration, Vestella Lab aims to strengthen its understanding of the Chinese market and its business networks, while jointly pursuing projects that integrate its Physical AI-based spatial intelligence technology with autonomous driving and robotics.

Specifically, the companies plan to expand services in China that support the indoor movement of autonomous vehicles and robots, utilizing technology that digitizes spatial information and tracks the movement of people, vehicles, and robots in indoor or underground environments where GPS signals are limited.

Based on this MOU, the two companies will cooperate on: ▲ establishing joint business strategies for entering the Chinese market, ▲ sharing technical and market information, ▲ identifying joint business opportunities at major Chinese landmarks and industrial sites, and ▲ promoting businesses that combine Vestella Lab's spatial intelligence technology with Shanghai Space Tech's autonomous driving and robot technologies.
