Nexon gears up for busy August with Overwatch and FC Online events

| NBNTV = Jeong Dong-jin | Nexon is set for a busy month, with a diverse schedule ranging from new game service expansions and large-scale offline events to earnings announcements and eSports leagues.

According to Nexon on the 3rd, the PC version of Overwatch will launch its Korean service on the 12th, accompanied by a Season 4 update. In cooperation with Blizzard Entertainment, the company plans to introduce content customized for domestic users and PC bang services.

Following this, the large-scale service commemoration event, 'Overwatch Day,' will be held at Busan BEXCO on the 22nd and 23rd. The event will feature a fan-meeting with the development team, including Director Aaron Keller, as well as influencer matches and experience zones.

Announcements regarding core projects and management performance will also follow. Mabinogi Eternity, the engine replacement project for Mabinogi, is recruiting participants for its first alpha test until the 12th. This test is scheduled to take place over four days from September 3 to 6. Additionally, Nexon will announce its 2026 second-quarter consolidated earnings on the 13th and reveal its third-quarter outlook.

At the end of the month, the momentum of technical competitions and eSports will continue. On the 29th, the NYPC 2026 final round, which has been reorganized into a competition based on AI utilization skills, will be held, where 70 participants each from the Master and Rookie tracks who passed the preliminaries will engage in a battle of wits.

Alongside this, throughout August, the Round 2 Knockout Stage and Round 3 Final Stage of the FC Online top-tier league, 2026 FSL Summer, will be held and broadcast live at the Jamsil DN Colosseum.
