NC unveils AION 2, CINDER CITY, and Like or Die at Gamescom 2026

[NBNTV] Reporter Jeong Dong-jin reports that NC has arrived in Germany with its "three musketeers."

According to NC on the 26th, the company simultaneously unveiled three new titles during the Opening Night Live (ONL) pre-event of Gamescom 2026 held in Cologne, Germany.

Through ONL, NC presented new footage for AION 2 and CINDER CITY, and provided a first look at the new title currently under development, Like or Die.

AION 2 confirmed its global release date alongside the unveiling of its new trailer. It is scheduled to launch simultaneously across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia via PC platforms such as Steam and PURPLE on October 5.

Prior to the launch, NC will conduct a Launch Scale Test. The test will take place over two days from September 17 to 18, providing an opportunity for players to experience the game before the official release while allowing NC to verify server and infrastructure stability in a live-service environment.

CINDER CITY showcased its core worldview and narrative through a new cinematic video. The footage increased immersion by depicting the destruction of the 21st-century world from the perspective of an in-game character.

CINDER CITY is accelerating development with the goal of providing high-quality global service, having already conducted a Pre-Alpha PlayTest for US users from August 14 to 16 (local time).

NC's new title, Like or Die, also made its debut with its first trailer. Like or Die is a team-based survival FPS (First-Person Shooter) currently in development at NC. The game features a unique mechanic where players act as streamers, cooperating with teammates in a survival competition to be the last team standing.

The released footage highlights core gameplay, including combat methods utilizing Block and the destruction of the opposing faction's Nexus. The game has raised expectations by showcasing a blend of strategic team play and fast-paced combat.

Additionally, a trailer providing a glimpse into the game's lore was released via the official YouTube channel. Players can now add Like or Die to their wishlist on its Steam store page.

NC is participating in Gamescom 2026, which opened on August 26, and is operating a booth in the B2B pavilion. The company aims to strengthen its global market presence by introducing these new titles to international media and industry professionals.
