Crimson Desert nominated for two awards at gamescom 2026
Pearl Abyss's Crimson Desert secures two major nominations at the gamescom 2026 awards, competing against global hits like Metro: 2039.

According to Koelnmesse and the German Games Industry Association on the 25th, Crimson Desert has been selected as a nominee in two categories: Most Epic, which evaluates direction and scale, and Best PC Game, a major platform competition.
In the Most Epic category, Crimson Desert will compete for the win alongside highly anticipated global titles such as Metro: 2039 and Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000.
The title with the most nominations this year is 4A Games' Metro: 2039, which is listed in five categories. Alien: Isolation 2 and DenshaTek! were each nominated in four categories, while SEGA led publishers with a total of 8 nominees.
Additionally, Age Twisters by Piccolo Studio, distributed by Krafton, was included as a nominee in the Most Wholesome category.
Voting by visitors and global fans will take place from August 26 until 2:00 PM on August 27. Fans can vote via the official gamescom website or on-site QR codes, and the final winners will be determined by combining these results with the jury's evaluation.
