The group WINNER met with citizens by performing an unannounced guerrilla live show in the areas around Hongik University and Hapjeong.

According to a video released on the YouTube channel JAYKEEOUT, WINNER appeared on the channel's content series 'Sudden Raid Live' and performed at a cafe (Umul) near Hapjeong. In the video, the members explained the purpose of the content while traveling to the venue, revealing that for themselves, now in their 12th year since debut, a 'guerrilla concert' had been a long-held dream.

Before the performance began, WINNER engaged in promotional activities by roaming the streets near Hongik University and Hapjeong to personally inform citizens about the show. The members livened up the atmosphere by approaching passersby and saying, "We are doing a free live performance at 4 o'clock at a cafe called Hapjeong Umul, so please come visit."

During this process, the members guided foreign citizens in English regarding the location and time of the performance and worked to recruit an audience by sharing news of the show in real-time via Instagram. Considering it was a weekday afternoon and the age range of their fans, the members expressed concern, asking, "Will people actually come? To be honest, that is a bit worrying." In particular, the members approached citizens while passing through the main street of Hongik University and broadcast the news of the performance live to those nearby through Instagram Live.

Crowd exceeds expectations as group performs hits like 'Red Alert'

As soon as the performance began, a larger crowd gathered at the scene than expected. In the video, the members expressed their surprise at the audience, stating, "It hasn't even been three hours since we made the announcement," and adding, "We expected about 20 to 50 people." As citizens who had heard the news directly on the streets of Hongik University earlier arrived, the members expressed their gratitude for the turnout.

Once the main stage began, WINNER performed their representative hits, including 'Red Alert', 'Don't Flirt', 'Empty', and 'LOVE ME LOVE ME'. The members continued their performance on stage, completing the live show while interacting with the audience.
