Band Chwihyang Sangjeom has showcased its unique musical identity with the release of the new single 'PADO,' a track that captures the seasonal essence of summer. The song compares the emotional fluctuations that feel particularly pronounced during the summer months to ocean waves, musically unraveling the flow of emotions that surface naturally even when one attempts to hide them.

Emotional fluctuations and seasonal waves

'PADO' takes the intense waves of summer as its core theme, likening the restless and undulating state of mind experienced in the heat to the movement of the sea. The song narratively captures the process of facing emotions that inevitably surface like waves despite efforts to conceal them, eventually finding peace by surrendering to those currents. It evokes seasonal sentiment in listeners by posing the question, "Is your summer a season of crashing waves?"

The meticulous composition aimed at achieving musical perfection is also noteworthy. ZEZE provided the lyrics and vocals, delivering the song's sentiment through her voice, while Park Ye-chan established the framework through composition, guitar, and synthesizer. Joining them, Joo Ji-ho on bass and synthesizer, and Kang Jeong-hye on drums, built up rich layers of sound. In particular, Park Ye-chan and ZEZE led the co-composition and arrangement, precisely defining the track's overall color.

Recording was conducted by Ahn Jun-hyeok at Titan Recording Studio, while Oh Hyung-suk handled the mixing and mastering to finalize the song's texture.
