Sealy Bed opens Yeoju plant to boost production capacity
Sealy Bed has opened its expanded Yeoju plant in Gyeonggi Province to strengthen manufacturing competitiveness and supply major Asian markets.

Sealy Bed announced on the 10th that it held a completion ceremony for its Yeoju plant in Ogeum-dong, Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, on the 9th. The company plans to leverage the expanded infrastructure to strengthen production capacity and enhance manufacturing competitiveness.
The ceremony was attended by global and domestic executives, employees, and stakeholders, including David Montgomery, Vice President of Somni Group International; Simon Dyer, Chairman and CEO of Sealy Asia Pacific; and Yoon Jong-hyo, CEO of Sealy Korea, who gathered to celebrate the completion of the Yeoju plant.

The Sealy Bed Yeoju plant features a production area of 15,183㎡, approximately double the size of the existing 7,920㎡ facility. By expanding major production facilities and build lines, the company has increased its production capacity and established an integrated production system that connects key processes—from the receipt and inspection of raw materials to production, quality control, finished product management, and logistics—within a single hub.
With the completion of the Yeoju plant, Sealy Bed plans to further strengthen its domestic production and quality competitiveness while gradually expanding its role in supplying products to major Asian markets. In the future, the company intends to build an additional spring production plant near the Yeoju site to bolster in-house production capabilities, ranging from core components to finished products.
