General Min-gyeong introduces new September convenience store treats to soothe holiday blues
YouTuber General Min-gyeong reviews new September convenience store releases, from Chuseok-themed lunchboxes to unique wasabi and truffle snacks.
To celebrate the Chuseok holiday, YouTuber General Min-gyeong introduced various new products released at convenience stores, showcasing foods designed to soothe the lingering feelings of the holiday season.

Chuseok-themed lunchboxes and unique chicken combinations
For those missing traditional holiday dishes, General Min-gyeong first introduced the 'Lunchbox of the Month: Hangawi Edition.' This lunchbox is characterized by its inclusion of three different types of rice. In the video, Min-gyeong remarked on the vegetable rice, saying, "Since there is vegetable rice, it feels somewhat comforting" regarding the disappointment of missing holiday food. She noted that the combination of tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties) and jeon (pan-fried delicacies) provides a sense of vicarious satisfaction. In particular, she praised the tteokgalbi, stating, "The meat has exactly that taste," evaluating it as excellent.
As for chicken products, 'Avocado Truffle Chicken' was introduced. This product features avocado-based guacamole sauce drizzled over seasoned chicken, enhanced with a truffle aroma. Min-gyeong explained, "Just by slightly opening the plastic, the truffle scent bursts out," evaluating it as a new style of chicken that feels "like eating a taco" thanks to the guacamole sauce. She added that the truffle scent was not excessive, making it pleasant.
Korea's first wasabi dumplings and Yeol Ramen collaborations
Two striking new products appeared in the dumpling category. First, 'Wasabi Xiao Long Bao Dumplings' is the first product in the domestic frozen dumpling industry to use wasabi as a filling. Min-gyeong explained, "When you put it in your mouth, the scent and taste of wasabi burst out at the end," describing it as a combination where the wasabi cuts through the greasiness of the meat dumplings. She noted that the wasabi scent was well-balanced and not too strong.

Next, 'Yeol Jjin Mandu' utilizes the spicy flavor of Yeol Ramen. It is characterized by the use of tapioca starch to achieve a transparent dumpling skin. Min-gyeong emphasized the texture, saying, "The dumpling skin is so chewy," and "it is gummy, like eating potato rice cakes." Regarding the spice level, she explained that it carries the signature spicy and refreshing flavor of Yeol Ramen.
Diverse lineup from Yonsei Milk collaborations to traditional desserts
In the dessert category, a bread product with a birthday cake concept was introduced, created in collaboration with Yonsei Milk to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Millie's Library. Regarding this product, which contains castella powder and fresh cream, Min-gyeong commented, "Yonsei Milk bread makes the combination of fresh cream and bread so well." Additionally, 'Sindang-dong Jajang tteokbokki' snack, a collaboration with Halmae tteokbokki, was introduced as a product that adds a secret jajang sauce to a crispy snack base, featuring a spicy jajang flavor.
For healthy snacks, 'Roasted Chickpeas'—roasted under high pressure—were featured. Released in two flavors, tteokbokki and roasted corn, this product is non-greasy as it is not fried. Other items in the new release list include the limited edition 'Yogurt Glutinous Rice Cake,' the Emart24 exclusive 'Artisan Hangga's Mini Yakgwa,' and 'Joseon's Jelly,' which features citron and kumquat scents. 'Joseon's Jelly' comes in a mother-of-pearl style pouch and includes 20 different types of stickers inside.
