EVAN performs 'Death of Me' and 'As It Was' at KCON LA 2026

Singer EVAN completed a busy four-day itinerary in Los Angeles, spanning KCON 2026 and various local performances. A newly released video captures his journey, starting with filming for Genius Open Mic, followed by the GRAMMY Museum 'Spotlight' stage, a photoshoot for Teen Vogue, and concluding with his performance at KCON LA 2026.

On the first day, EVAN visited GENIUS studios to film 'Genius Open Mic.' During the shoot, he revealed he would be performing 'Death of Me,' a song he wrote himself, for the first time. Following rehearsals, EVAN expressed some frustration, stating, "I am not satisfied." While traveling between locations, he noted that due to jet lag and other factors, "the performance didn't come out as expected," adding, "I thought I had practiced enough, but it turns out it wasn't enough."

Later that day, EVAN visited the Griffith Observatory to take in the LA scenery. He noted that the wide roads and large trucks made him realize he was truly in the United States. After missing a meal near the observatory, EVAN was seen jotting down notes on his phone regarding areas for improvement, looking forward to his next opportunity.

GRAMMY Museum stage and 'Teen Vogue' photoshoot

On the second day, EVAN took the stage for the GRAMMY Museum 'Spotlight,' where he performed 'Overflow' and a cover of The Weeknd's 'Can't Feel My Face.' EVAN expressed his gratitude to fans, noting that he had received seven awards during his previous activities. Reflecting on the venue's atmosphere, he remarked, "Only 300 people were supposed to enter, but there were people waiting in front [of the venue]."

The third day featured a photoshoot for Teen Vogue. EVAN remarked on the unique experience of having a single professional handle both hair and makeup. He also enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, saying, "It was fun because it felt like we just moved naturally from cut to cut, without feeling like 'I have to do it this way.'" During dinner with former members, he shared his aspirations: "I don't mind being busy, but I hope to stay healthy, and I truly hope the fans like it."

On the final day, EVAN performed at KCON LA 2026. During rehearsals, he focused on preparing the lyrics for 'As It Was.' He concluded his set with 'Ride or Die' as his final song. EVAN described the overwhelming energy of the crowd, saying, "I was flustered because there were so many more fans than I expected." He specifically noted the intensity of the cheering, remarking, "I took out my in-ear once, and it felt like my ears were going to burst."
