EVAN's Lee Hee-seung shares self-designed fanchant guide for 'Death of Me'

Lee Hee-seung, a member of EVAN, has shared the process of creating a fanchant for fans to enjoy ahead of his upcoming comeback.

In a recently released video, Lee captured the process of personally designing a fanchant for his self-written track 'Death of Me' to ensure fans can enjoy the performance more easily. In the video, Lee provided specific guidance on which sections fans should follow based on the song's composition. He revealed that because he wrote the song himself, he wanted to ensure the cheering process was exciting, fun, and easy for his supporters.

Lee highlighted key keywords for fans to shout according to the song's flow. In the video, he encouraged cheering by pointing out lyric sections such as 'Death of Me', 'Destiny', and 'Pause'. He also suggested that fans join in during the 'Chase, Chase' back-vocal section in the middle of the track. He continued by explaining the 'Breathing, Breathing' section and the flow of the first chorus to guide the timing of the cheers.

Following the song's progression, Lee highlighted major segments, including the 'I'm six feet under' part and the points where 'diving' is repeated. Specifically, for the dance break, he suggested shouting 'Hey, hey, hey, hey' and 'Lee Hee-seung' to boost the energy. While listening to the track, Lee expressed his excitement, noting that he can already almost hear the fans' cheers.

"Five times is enough": Anticipation for fans

Discussing his comeback preparations, Lee admitted to feeling some fatigue from several days of intense practice, but expressed his excitement about building new memories with fans through this album. Referencing a Weverse notice, he encouraged fan participation, telling them that practicing the fanchant just five times would be enough to master it.

Lee also expressed his hope that fans would not feel pressured to memorize everything perfectly. He concluded the video by saying it is actually okay to get the fanchant wrong, adding that he simply wants fans to have fun and cheer loudly alongside him without feeling burdened.
