Polygraph reveals husband's true feelings on 'Divorce Camp'

Tensions escalated on a program addressing marital conflict as psychological and physiological test results designed to uncover spouses' true intentions were revealed.

In the 101st episode of JTBC's 'Divorce Camp,' participating couples faced the results of these tests before making critical life decisions. The broadcast featured the results for couples Song Jeong-ho and Park Seul-gi, and Kim Sang-hyuk and Kang Hyo-min.

“If you had to choose between your wife and mother?”... Conflicting answers and revealed truths

The first couple to undergo testing, Song Jeong-ho and Park Seul-gi, drew significant attention due to Song's response to a specific question. When asked, “If you had to choose between your wife and your mother, would you choose your mother?”, Song answered “No,” explaining, “Because I have to keep living with my wife.” The test confirmed his answer as the truth.

The subsequent question touched on the sensitive issue of child support. When asked, “Is it not a waste to pay child support because it is your wife's money?”, Song again answered “No,” but the polygraph revealed his response to be a lie. During the episode, Song mentioned giving a certain amount of money to his mother using his wife's income; he appeared visibly bewildered when the test flagged his answer as a lie.

Clashing economic values and emerging conflicts

As the “lie” result was revealed, the conversation between the couple turned sharp. Park continued to question her husband regarding his economic attitude, while Song suggested he could simply “work more” to address his own income. The moment the test results diverged from his stated intentions highlighted the deep-seated differences in values between the couple.

During the testing for Kim Sang-hyuk and Kang Hyo-min, questions regarding trust were raised. Kang was questioned about a past situation involving a male friend; she explained the circumstances, noting she was with juniors at the time, highlighting the differing perspectives between her and her husband.
