hy's 'Will' cuts plastic use by 52 tons through eco-friendly lid redesign
hy is reducing the weight of its 'Will' brand outer caps by 16%, aiming to cut annual plastic waste by 52 tons.
| NBNTV = Reporter Jeong Chang-gyu | hy announced on the 13th that it will begin sequentially applying a 16% weight reduction to the outer caps of its three flagship 'Helicobacter Project Will' (hereafter 'Will') products starting in mid-August.

The core of this packaging improvement is reducing plastic usage while maintaining product stability and existing quality. hy estimates that the implementation of the new outer caps will reduce annual plastic consumption by approximately 52 tons.
When combined with the lightweight packaging of the microbiome brand 'M-Pro' and the 11% weight reduction for 'Acerola Vitamin Shot' scheduled for next month, the total annual plastic reduction across the three brands will reach 160 tons.
