Dreamplay Games to end Hero Three Kingdoms service on Sept. 17
Dreamplay Games will shut down the Three Kingdoms-themed RPG Hero Three Kingdoms due to contract and development issues with its Chinese partner.

Dreamplay Games will terminate service for Hero Three Kingdoms on September 17. Following its early release on One Store on December 21, 2023, the service is ending after approximately 2 years and 9 months (1,002 days).
Hero Three Kingdoms is a collectible RPG set in the Three Kingdoms era, combining 2D illustrations with 3D combat action. Despite featuring famous generals such as Guan Yu, Lu Bu, and Zhuge Liang, along with powerful ultimate skills, divine beast summons, and various challenge modes, the game failed to reach the three-year mark.
New downloads and in-app purchases have already been blocked. Refund applications will only be accepted for payments made between July 1 and August 18, in accordance with internal company standards.
A representative from Dreamplay Games stated, "Due to insufficient development support and contract issues with the local Chinese developer, we have concluded that it will be difficult to provide satisfactory updates and maintain stable game services moving forward."
