According to a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, "Sung Si-kyung SUNG SI KYUNG," the singer visited the restaurant—which he had been eyeing for some time—while preparing for his upcoming concert. Sung noted that the establishment is operated by Chinese nationals and shared the process of selecting and ordering his meal.

"Better than Daerim-dong"... A review of the Chinese cuisine

During the meal, Sung ordered stir-fried shredded potatoes, stir-fried chives with egg, stir-fried pork intestines, and stir-fried lamb with green onions. Regarding the pork intestines, Sung expressed his satisfaction, noting, "Among intestines, this has the strongest pork scent. It's supposed to have that scent," and described the stir-fried lamb as having a "strong" flavor profile.

Sung further praised the food, remarking, "The braised intestines are so amazing that you don't even need to go to Daerim-dong," adding, "If you enjoy these kinds of flavors, I can say this place is truly excellent." He also noted that the food lived up to his expectations, saying, "Looking at the photos, I can tell my intuition wasn't wrong."

Dining with new product Gyeongsoju 51 Degrees

The video also featured Gyeongsoju 51 Degrees, a new product from Sung's liquor brand, Gyeong. Sung mentioned that the spirit pairs exceptionally well with Chinese cuisine, stating, "After cleansing the palate with Gyeongsoju, I think I'll just drink this alone."

In a humorous warning about the new product's potency, Sung joked, "Never buy it; it's too strong and makes you too drunk. Only those who are heavy drinkers should try it." He also expressed excitement for the upcoming launch, saying, "Tomorrow is the launch for Gyeongsoju, so I'm curious to see how it goes."

A brief break during concert preparations

Sung revealed that this visit served as a brief respite during his concert preparations. "I think today's 'I'll Eat' is being filmed before the concert," he told fans, adding, "Let's meet again with a light heart after the concert is over." He also touched upon his busy schedule, noting, "I have to practice for the evening performance, so I won't be able to stay until the very end."
