HYBE rookie TUIDE reveals performance for debut track 'GRLS'
HYBE's new 7-member girl group TUIDE showcases individual charms in a performance video for their debut track 'GRLS' ahead of their upcoming release.
HYBE's rookie 7-member girl group TUIDE has announced the start of their full-scale activities by releasing performance videos that capture each member's unique personality ahead of their debut. Composed of Seo-hee, Seo-yeon, Elena, Zia, Saki, Se-ah, and Lee Ha-nee, TUIDE posted 'Meet my GRLS, TUIDE' content on the HYBE Labels official YouTube channel on the 7th. The video provides a preview of the performance and music release for 'GRLS,' a track from their first mini-album '[TUNE & PLAY]' scheduled for release on the 24th at 6 PM.

'GRLS' performance emphasizes individual charms
In the 'GRLS' performance video, TUIDE showcased choreography that highlights individual expressive power rather than standardized group dance. The performance, which begins with the confident gazes of Zia and Saki, leads into a house dance solo by Se-ah. This is followed by Seo-yeon's bubbly expressions and Elena's elegant dance lines, before Lee Ha-nee shifts the mood with her unique vocals. Saki performed rhythmic movements to the lyrics 'Following the rhythm,' while Seo-hee added energy to the song with her clear vocal tone. During the group sections, the members revealed their team color through choreography combining various genres such as house, hip-hop, and soul, incorporating freestyle gestures throughout.
The outfit styling also featured a distinct approach. Agency ABD announced that the members wore custom outfits from the New York-based brand BODE. The vintage-style outfits, featuring delicate embroidery and quilting details, were used to highlight the individual personalities of the members. The track 'GRLS' signifies the first greeting the seven members, who each possess different colors, offer to the world as one team. It expresses free and lively energy, carrying the message that they will move forward in their own way, their 'bestie-tude.'
ABD's first step led by producer Han Seong-su
TUIDE is the first group presented by ABD (A Bold Dream), a new label under HYBE. ABD is under the general production of Master Professional (MP) Han Seong-su, who has led the production of groups such as Seventeen, After School, Iz*One, and TWS. The album title 'TUNE & PLAY' combines 'TUNE,' meaning to tune different musical languages into one rhythm, and 'PLAY,' meaning the joy found within that process.
TUIDE will officially debut on the 24th with their first mini-album '[TUNE & PLAY]'. The title track is 'SUN KISS.' The title track performance, which will feature music and choreography different from the previously released 'GRLS,' is expected to be revealed soon.
