Unix unveils portable hair iron for Olive Young Sanrio event
Unix introduces the 'Takeout' wireless mini hair iron featuring a 'SAFETY PLUG' for easier travel during the Olive Young x Sanrio Characters campaign.
| NBNTV = Jeong Chang-gyu | Unix is debuting its 'Takeout' wireless mini hair iron, featuring a specialized power cutoff function, at the Olive Young Sanrio Characters special exhibition.

Designed with international baggage regulations for battery-powered devices in mind, the product is equipped with a 'SAFETY PLUG' that physically and securely disconnects the power.
This feature allows users to detach the plug before boarding to ensure the power connection is fully severed, reducing the procedural inconveniences often associated with carrying battery-equipped devices. The plug can simply be reconnected for use during application. The company noted that because carry-on standards for battery devices vary by airline, passengers should check individual airline guidelines before travel.
The compact, wireless device operates without the need for an external power source. This exclusive Olive Young configuration features a 'Cinnamoroll' character design and includes a heat-shielding cap to protect the heating plates.
“By participating in this Olive Young x Sanrio Characters campaign, we aim to provide consumers with a new experience by combining technical convenience with the Cinnamoroll design,” a Unix official stated.
