Based on K-fashion demand identified through its global store across Japan, the company plans to expand its offline presence beyond the Tokyo metropolitan area into other major regions.

MUSINSA has previously conducted five offline pop-ups in Japan, primarily centered in Tokyo, since April 2023. While the company operated a one-week short-term pop-up with 11 brands at Hankyu Department Store in Osaka in November 2023, this marks the first time MUSINSA is hosting a large-scale solo pop-up store.

The MUSINSA Osaka Pop-up Store 2026 will run for 17 days from October 23 to November 8 at Grand Green Osaka Vs. Approximately 70 Korean fashion and beauty brands, carefully selected based on local customer data accumulated by MUSINSA online and offline in Japan, will participate to showcase products and content tailored to local tastes and demand.

Osaka is the central hub of the Kansai region, Japan's second-largest economic zone, connecting major cities such as Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara. Grand Green Osaka Vs., the pop-up venue, is a multi-cultural complex adjacent to JR Osaka Station that has emerged as a new cultural landmark in Umeda. Located in the heart of the Umeda commercial district—an area popular with fashion-conscious youth and international tourists—the venue provides extensive reach to both local and global consumers.

MUSINSA intends to use this pop-up as a testbed to verify the market potential of emerging Korean brands in Japan. In its three previous Tokyo pop-ups, more than 200 emerging brands participated, with 38 of them making their debut in the Japanese offline market through the events. Participating brands saw significant short-term success, with transaction volumes increasing between three and over 10 times compared to the previous month. During the Osaka pop-up, MUSINSA plans to closely monitor sales performance and local consumer response to identify brands with high growth potential.

"MUSINSA supports the global growth of K-fashion brands by assisting with everything from initial market entry to localization strategies and securing stable distribution channels in overseas markets that are difficult for individual brands to enter alone," a MUSINSA official said. "Through this Osaka pop-up, we will help emerging brands secure a new customer base in the Kansai region beyond Tokyo and expand their brand recognition across major Japanese cities."
