The album documents the musical journey the group has built thus far while serving as a manifesto to redefine traditional music for modern audiences through a contemporary lens.

Storytelling that weaves 'Song of Chun Hyang' into a single drama

More than a mere collection of tracks, this studio album is a cohesive dramatic work. It weaves major passages from the Pansori 'Song of Chun Hyang' into five songs, framed by an overture and a closing track to complete the narrative arc. To ensure an organic flow, the members produced 'Aniri'—traditional Pansori spoken passages—to be inserted between the songs, creating a seamless storytelling structure.

The central narrative of 'Song of Chun Hyang' dramatically depicts the lives of Chun Hyang and Lee Mong-ryong. Using sensory pop sounds, the album expresses the 'Han' (deep sorrow) Chun Hyang experiences amidst the harsh realities of social barriers and separation, and the way her unwavering loyalty eventually transforms into joy. The final track, 'Me and You,' expands this worldview beyond an individual love story, touching upon the universal human experience of life's endless cycles of joy and sorrow.
