MJYTV, who is traveling through the Scottish Highlands in a campervan, shared an efficient car-camping lifestyle that focuses on food expenses by reducing accommodation costs. The journey, starting from a free parking spot in Inverness and continuing to Ballintore, centered on "fridge-clearing" dishes using ingredients stored in the refrigerator.

MJYTV, who is traveling through the Scottish Highlands region in a campervan, revealed an efficient car-camping lifestyle that focuses on food expenses instead of reducing accommodation costs. In a journey starting from a free parking lot in Inverness and leading to Ballintore, "fridge-clearing" cooking using ingredients in the refrigerator was the main focus.
Breakfast in Inverness with Bone Broth and Frozen Mandu
The trip began at a free car-camping spot in Inverness. Bone broth and zucchini were prepared inside the campervan. The video shows the completion of mandu-guk (dumpling soup) by taking out chive mandu that had been stored in small portions in the freezer. In the video, "minced Cheongyang chili cubes," which are highly useful during travels, were mentioned, and it was stated that they plan to purchase them every time they return to Korea.

After the meal, they had tea time with Royal Milk Tea using maple syrup and Earl Grey milk. Due to the typical fickle weather of the Scottish Highlands at the time, dark clouds were rolling in, but they continued sightseeing in downtown Inverness wearing a raincoat, which is a product from Arc'teryx. In the video, it was mentioned that the length of the raincoat is long, which might be somewhat inconvenient for everyday wear.
The Legend of Loch Ness and Sightseeing at Inverness Castle
The group, having moved to downtown Inverness, faced Loch Ness. Loch Ness is famous for the theory that the legendary monster 'Nessie' lives there. In the video, a view was presented that the existence of Nessie might be an illusion created by fear. The context is that one could mistake a monster for tree branches swaying in the dark night waves.

While crossing a bridge near Loch Ness, a situation occurred where the bridge shook due to strong winds. They then visited a souvenir shop near Inverness Castle. They checked the local characteristics by looking at wool and cashmere products, which are specialties of Scotland. In the souvenir shop, products containing the historical background that during the time Prince Charles was fleeing, Flora MacDonald dressed the prince as a woman and helped him escape to the Isle of Skye, were also introduced.
Arrival in Ballintore and Tomato One-Pan Pasta Cooking
After leaving Inverness and moving to the new car-camping spot, Ballintore, the group cooked 'tomato one-pan pasta' using the remaining ingredients in the refrigerator. Onion, minced beef, raw pasta noodles, and leftover tomatoes were used as main ingredients. In the cooking process, the 'glazing' technique, which involves using liquid to loosen the parts stuck to the bottom of the pan, was applied, and Dashida was used to add lacking umami.
After the meal, they went to find the legend of the 'Mermaid of the North' passed down in the village of Ballintore. In the video, which shows a mermaid statue looking over the village, the content of the legend is introduced, where a curious mermaid comes up to the land and loses her tail because of a man. The story continues that the mermaid could not return to the sea and lived in the man's world, but eventually found her tail and returned to the sea.
