To celebrate Chuseok, the K-Trot performance 'The Good, the Bad, and the Weird Show' (NOM.NOM.NOM SHOW) will be held at the InterContinental Downtown Hotel Grand Ballroom in Los Angeles (LA) from September 25 to 26 (local time).
The lineup for this performance includes Jang Minho, Cheon Rok-dam, Kim Yong-pil, and Na Tae-joo. The show will be presented in a family-oriented variety format, combining songs, talk segments, and performances.
To commemorate the performance, the cast has decided to donate the proceeds from the sale of a group photo book to 'Skid Row Running Club,' a non-profit organization in LA that supports the self-reliance of the homeless.
The photo book was shot at the Cheongdam-dong tuxedo brand 'Lord & Tailor,' with photography directed by Ji Young-bin. The photo book will be provided to VIP spectators and will be available for limited sale to R-seat and S-seat spectators.
Egg Cosmetic, which operates the global K-beauty brand houry—an official sponsor—and the Korea Agricultural Corporation are also participating in this donation project.
The organizer, LV Nexus, stated, "We planned this project with the hope that the messages of comfort and hope inherent in Trot will reach beyond the concert hall and into the local community. The performing singers also agreed with the purpose of the donation and joined the cause."
Executive Producer Park Sun-joo shared, "Trot is music that sings of pain and sorrow, but ultimately delivers hope and comfort. Through this performance, we wanted to convey not only great music but also the meaning of family and sharing."
