Singer Jung Seung Hwan reminisced about the past while communicating with fans ahead of his 10th-anniversary concert. Through a VLOG video commemorating the 10th-anniversary concert '2026 Jung Seung-hwan 10th Anniversary Concert 'Do You Like Ballads?'' scheduled to be held in December 2026, Jung Seung Hwan shared his emotions from that time while cooking.
"Cooking is done by intuition" Jung Seung Hwan's Brie Cheese Pasta recipe
In the video, Jung Seung Hwan personally made 'Brie Cheese Pasta' by referring to Sung Si Kyung's recipe. During the cooking process, he showed himself following his own senses rather than fixed measurements. Jung Seung Hwan connected his musical attitude with cooking, saying, "Cooking is just done by intuition. Following my heart, that is my cooking. That is ballad."
In the cooking process, he used a method of boiling linguine noodles and then mixing them with finely minced raw garlic, cherry tomatoes, Brie cheese, olive oil, salt, and pepper. He explained the simple recipe, saying, "I only use heat once. Aside from boiling the noodles, the rest is just mixing." In particular, he emphasized the importance of the aroma of raw garlic and extra virgin olive oil, showing the process of completing the dish by melting the cheese with the heat of the hot noodles.

The 2020 COVID-19 period, overcoming anxiety and sorrow through music
While cooking, Jung Seung Hwan recalled the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic period that he shared with fans. Mentioning the situation where he could not perform at that time, he recalled memories of spending time at home through cooking and watching movies. He conveyed his feelings at the time, saying, "During COVID, it was a time when performing was truly impossible, and meeting people was also difficult."

In particular, while tasting the finished pasta, he said, "I feel like this dish contains the loneliness, solitude, and my sorrow from the COVID period." Explaining the process of devoting himself to music work to overcome the anxiety, worry, and sorrow of that time, he added, "It is a taste where those emotions pass by like a panorama."
Reflections ahead of the 10th-anniversary concert: "I want to sing together to my heart's content"
Jung Seung Hwan revealed his musical intention at the time by mentioning the song 'Anytime, Anywhere' released in May 2020. He said, "During COVID, I sang while imagining a scene where everyone sings at the top of their lungs, but I couldn't do that," and "Seeing people singing vigorously now, as if that never happened, is moving." He then expressed his wish for the 10th-anniversary concert to be held in December, saying, "I hope there will be many such times where we can sing together to our heart's content."
