Golden Child's Lee Jang-jun recommends five songs for Chuseok drives

Lee Jang-jun, a member of the group Golden Child, has suggested playlists tailored to different situations for the Chuseok holiday travel season. In a video posted on Golden Child's official YouTube channel, Lee introduced the group's songs by scenario, stating, "I will recommend just five songs from Golden Child that are good to listen to while driving."

"From preventing drowsy driving to dealing with holiday nagging"

Lee first recommended "Crush," a track with an intense beat and sound, explaining that its powerful energy would help prevent drowsy driving. He then selected "Pass Me By" to capture the desire to breeze through highway traffic jams, noting that the song is a ballad in which he does not have a part.

Recommendations targeting specific holiday situations followed. To prepare for frustrating moments on the road, he suggested listening to "Break Up" to help soothe one's anger. He specifically mentioned instances where one might feel the urge to snap due to relatives' nagging regarding employment, graduation, or marriage, recommending the song "That Kid" as a way to virtually curse out "that kid" on the listener's behalf.

Finally, he chose "Feel Me" as a song to evoke the warmth of autumn and the love of family. In the video, Lee added that "Feel Me" comes to mind when thinking of autumn, noting that the music video's atmosphere evokes the season.

Memories of Anheung steamed bread and highway snacks

He also reminisced about the scenery of traveling home. Lee mentioned snacks one can find when traveling via national highways, such as puffed rice, corn, steamed rice bread, and hardtack. He specifically recalled always buying plenty of corn and puffed rice because they are easy to eat while driving. He also shared memories of the steamed rice bread his older sister loved and the Anheung steamed bread his mother always made sure to buy. He recalled how his mother would buy two boxes of Anheung steamed bread to keep in the freezer, so he could microwave them for 1 to 2 minutes after returning from school.

At the end of the video, Lee expressed gratitude to the driver and was seen participating in an event held at a rest area upon arrival. The video also announced that gifts would be given to those who write excellent two-line Chuseok poems through a comment event.
