Actress Choi Hee, who has entered her 40s, revealed her daily routine and deep affection for her family through a 'Liberation Day' spent alone. Recently, through her YouTube channel 'CHOI-HEE LOG', Choi Hee shared a day that continues from morning exercise to meeting acquaintances and a family trip.

"Exercise has been a routine for 10 years"... 3km running that wakes up the morning

At 6:30 AM, before the sun rose, Choi Hee left her house. Having continued aerobic exercise more than four times a week—swimming twice a week and dawn running twice a week—she said, "It has already become a routine to the point where it is difficult if I don't exercise." Except for special circumstances such as early pregnancy, Choi Hee has consistently exercised for over 10 years, and she introduced her own way of running while checking her respiration volume through a running app and listening to K-pop music.

She explained that morning running goes beyond simple physical activity to become mental exercise. She emphasized the motivation gained from encountering people moving diligently in the early morning and the joy provided by the experience of facing the morning sunlight. On this day, Choi Hee ran about 3km for 25 minutes without overexerting herself. She added that she gains motivation through the diligent people she encounters in the morning, and facing the cold wind and morning sunlight becomes a mental exercise beyond physical exercise.

Daytime wine shared with an acquaintance, and skin concerns in one's 40s

After exercising, Choi Hee visited a massage shop in her neighborhood where she has been a regular for three years to rest, and then met her cherished acquaintance Jeong Seon-yeong. Meeting at Wine and Wax near the Mok-dong Hyundai Department Store, the two spent a leisurely daytime by enjoying wine selected at the wine shop in a restaurant without a corkage fee. Choi Hee introduced her acquaintance as "an affectionate older sister I always contact when I have concerns because she is an intellectual and wise person."

During the conversation, Choi Hee also spoke honestly about the changes she experiences upon turning 40. She said, "Every time the seasons change, when I look in the mirror, I get a reality check (hyeonta) wondering why I look so ugly," mentioning concerns about freckles and blemishes appearing due to the strong autumn sunlight. She lamented, "When I look in the elevator mirror, I get a serious reality check," adding that if her face, which became dark throughout the summer, also shows freckles and blemishes, she feels like she looks five times older.

Choi Hee expressed the importance of consistent care, describing skin care as "a savings account attached to my face." She mentioned that a single melanin cell can affect 36 keratin cells that can become freckles, and explained the necessity of care that treats both surface freckles and deep freckles. In particular, she shared her routine of using high-functionality products that help improve melanin pigmentation overnight, layering them around the cheekbones and cheeks.

"Meetings only 20 times in 10 years"... A time to realize the preciousness of family

After spending free time, Choi Hee visited the Daejeon National Cemetery with her family. The whole family traveled in a Carnival to see her paternal grandfather, a recipient of the Hwarang Order of Military Merit. After visiting the National Cemetery, they spent time in a villa-like accommodation where the family could stay together. Choi Hee said she wanted to pass on the happiness of the family trips she experienced in her childhood to her children.

While she preferred hanging out with friends in her 20s and 30s, her confession is that now in her 40s, ordinary time spent talking while looking at old photos with her family has become more precious. In particular, she emphasized that for those living apart from their parents, the time that can be spent with family is not as much as one might think.

Concluding her daily life, she said, "If you meet your parents twice a year, you can only meet them a mere 20 times in 10 years," and "I felt that even if it is a short time, even if I cannot see them much, I must do my best to love them during that time." She reflected on the preciousness of real friends and family who can understand her heart and cheer for each other, rather than wide and thin human relationships.
