Song Ga-in rebukes Jonathan for eating cucumbers during harvest

Singer Song Ga-in showcased her unfiltered wit while helping out at a rural farm. In the episode of SBS 'Jecheolli Village Hall' aired on the 9th, members of the 'Jecheolli Youth Association' visited Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, to participate in a talent donation program.

The Youth Association formed a full group for the occasion as OH MY GIRL's Hyojung and singer Baek A Yeon joined the team. Upon her appearance, Hyojung made her presence felt by introducing herself as the 'only Daeho line in the entertainment industry' and held a paddy field runway by gifting jelly shoes to the members. Baek A Yeon shared updates regarding her recent marriage and childbirth.

Harvesting cucumbers at a 2,800-pyeong smart farm and filming Reels

The members visited a smart farm cucumber farm spanning 2,800 pyeong, which generates an annual revenue of approximately 800 million to 900 million won. Song Ga-in, who rode up on a lift with Jonathan and Baek A Yeon, harvested cucumbers while humming her song 'Passing By'.

During the harvesting process, as Jonathan focused more on a cucumber mukbang rather than working, Song Ga-in delivered a sharp rebuke, asking, “Jonathan, are you picking the cucumbers? Are you picking them with your mouth?” before adding, “Don't eat them, pick them.” She took on the role of a strict disciplinarian as the vice president of the 'Jecheolli Youth Association'.

Efforts to promote the farm continued as Hyojung stepped up as the 'Reels General Director' at the request of the farm representative. Hyojung instantly parodied a popular meme of Oh Jung Se's 'I Like You' into 'I Like Cucumbers'. Following Hyojung's direction, Song Ga-in performed various camera angles and choreography to a song from the movie 'Wild Sing'.

Visiting Geumgok Elementary School with 18 students

The second location was Geumgok Elementary School, visited to participate in the NH Nonghyup Bank social contribution project 'Space Space' workshop. This school was selected for the 'Space Space Project', which provides experiential opportunities to rural students who lack recreational infrastructure, and has a total of 18 students.

Song Ga-in, who usually shows charisma on stage, showed signs of nervousness when standing before the children, saying, “I don't think the kids will know me.” She approached the children by saying, “I want to be the Song Ga-in that your mothers, fathers, grandmothers, and grandfathers love.”

Once the games began, Song Ga-in's competitive spirit emerged. Participating in a 'Body Language' game, she used her entire body to act out clues. Breaking the rule that prohibited making sounds, Song Ga-in used vocal interjections and eventually lost 1 point. Recording a final score of 9 points, she showed an energetic side that contrasted with her earlier shyness.
