Kang Nami enjoys workation at Hilton Pangyo, singing Roy Kim's 'Sparkle'
Broadcaster Kang Nami explores new content ideas during a productive workation at DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo.
Broadcaster Kang Nami showed herself immersed in planning new content while enjoying a "workation"—a combination of work and vacation—at a hotel.

According to a video released on the YouTube channel Neighborhood Friend Kang Nami, Kang visited the DoubleTree by Hilton Seoul Pangyo for a two-day, one-night stay. The video captures her daily workation routine, including business meetings and content brainstorming sessions, while utilizing the hotel's facilities for exercise and dining.
Balancing work and rest through constant ideation
Kang used this workation not merely as a break, but as a way to generate new ideas. While conducting business meetings, she scouted the hotel's spaces for potential filming locations. After inspecting the banquet hall and garden areas, she demonstrated her passion for content planning by jokingly suggesting, "Can we hold a performance in a place like this?" and adding, "A Kangnam Festival would probably draw 30 to 70 million people."
Seeking to move away from traditional studio shoots, Kang explored the possibility of filming in new environments. She inquired with hotel staff about space utilization, noting, "It would be great to film Kang Nami's Voice beautifully here," as she evaluated the suitability of the spacious banquet hall and garden for production.
Concluding the workation with Roy Kim's 'Sparkle'
The video's climax features Kang singing Roy Kim's song "Sparkle." Mentioning it as a personal favorite, she expressed her intention to release content featuring the track to match the season. The video concludes with the song's lyrics playing over the final scenes of her journey.
Beyond planning, Kang enjoyed an active stay playing tennis and golf at the hotel. While admitting her tennis skills are "lacking," she still enjoyed the match, and she showed an energetic side by recording a birdie in golf. She also highlighted the culinary joys of a workation, enjoying various hotel meals including fried rice, octopus salad, steak, carbonara, and lamb.
