According to Matrix on the 27th, the company will participate in the TGS 2026 indie game corner to unveil 'The 60-Second Syndrome,' the new autumn horror escape title from Matrix Creators.

'The 60-Second Syndrome' is a single-player horror escape game where a man trapped in a 60-second time loop attempts to escape a confined room. Within the enclosed space, players experience a loop where the world resets every time they die. Players must observe recurring eerie phenomena—such as a phone ringing at a set time, TV screens flickering, and clock chimes—while collecting clues to find an exit.

The title was developed in collaboration with HINATA through the 'HYGEIA Game Awards,' a joint project among game companies residing in the 'HYGEIA Building,' where the Matrix headquarters is located.

The game previously drew significant attention at the Japanese indie event 'BitSummit PUNCH' held last May, where it achieved a double crown by winning both the ID@Xbox award and the POPULAR SELECTION AWARD.
