TGS 2026: Neptune to Launch 5 HTML5 Games on LINE GAME

Neptune is set to showcase five mini-games through LINE GAME.

According to Neptune on the 16th, five H5 (HTML5) games will be sequentially launched on the LINE mini-app platform.

This marks the first instance where LINE GAME takes direct responsibility for publishing based on the LINE mini-app standard. It also represents a significant milestone as Neptune's first entry into the Japanese market for its H5 game business.

The five H5 games scheduled for launch are Cat Office, Cat Snack Bar, Dr. Drill, Infinite Stairs, and Ulzzang Mercenaries, which will be released sequentially on the LINE mini-app platform.

Among the titles scheduled for the LINE mini-app, three games—Cat Snack Bar, Dr. Drill, and Infinite Stairs—will feature demonstration stands at the LINE GAME booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026. Visitors to the LINE GAME booth will be able to play them immediately without any separate download procedures.

This partnership enables the introduction of in-app purchases (IAP) and the utilization of LINE login functionality. Furthermore, LINE GAME's deep understanding of local users is expected to provide direct marketing support, effectively attracting the target user base, which primarily consists of LINE users in Japan.

Through this collaboration, Neptune plans to expand its new user influx in the Japanese market and fully launch its H5 game business in the region.

Neptune has a track record of supplying H5 games to major domestic and international platforms, including Toss, Kakao Pay mini-games, KakaoTalk Game, and CrazyGames. The entry into the LINE mini-app is a strategic extension of this global distribution expansion and serves as Neptune's inaugural foray into the Japanese H5 game market.

Kwon Seung-hyun, head of Neptune's game business division, stated, "As LINE possesses a massive user base, there will be great synergy with Neptune's H5 games," adding, "In the mid-to-long term, we plan to review the entry of additional titles and the expansion of cooperation within the Japanese market."
