The spiritual successor to the global hit brawler Fat Princess will be unveiled at TGS 2026.

According to indie developer Koda Games on the 25th, the studio will showcase a playable build of Fat Goblins, a 32-player multiplayer brawler, ahead of its official 1.0 release on Steam in the second half of this year.

TGS 2026 marks the official global debut for Fat Goblins, providing its first formal introduction to international media and gamers through an offline event.

Fat Goblins is a casual PvP siege action game where players pick up various hats dropped on the battlefield to instantly switch classes to warriors, mages, archers, and more. Players lead a goblin army tasked with rescuing a princess trapped in an enemy fortress and reclaiming her for their own castle.

The game features humorous mechanics, such as feeding meat to the enemy princess to increase her weight and slow down her transport speed. It also combines real-time resource management and base-building elements, such as gathering wood to construct barracks and deploying catapults.

At the Koda Games booth, a demo build featuring five exclusive maps and all unlocked elements will be available throughout the five-day event.

Notably, the new hero class, Necromancer, will make its world premiere at TGS. The Necromancer mode allows players to resurrect fallen goblins on the battlefield to command an undead army, offering a unique strategic layer by heavily incorporating real-time strategy (RTS) elements into the brawl.
