The Wind enters 'Round 2' with new 'refreshing hip' concept

The group The Wind has signaled the start of their full-scale second round of activities with their 4th mini album, 'Second wind : S#00'. A recently released showcase behind-the-scenes video captures the members' nervous energy ahead of their comeback and their intense preparation for the new concept.

With 'Second wind : S#00', The Wind maintains the refreshing charm they are known for while adding a new, confident, and free-spirited dimension described as 'refreshing hip.' In the video, Park Ha-yu-chan explained that this album marks the definitive beginning of the group's second chapter.

The members underwent various preparations for this promotion. One member revealed they practiced extensively to add a sense of 'coolness and ease' to their existing refreshing image. Thanaton noted that the highlight he hopes fans will notice is "looking like a rockstar, running around and enjoying the stage."

The group also embraced several changes for this comeback. One member mentioned exercising to build physical strength and working hard to showcase a cooler side distinct from their previous image. They also emphasized significant growth in performance aspects, such as facial expressions and gestures.

"As nervous as my debut": The leader's sense of responsibility

Ahead of the long-awaited media showcase, the members could not hide their nerves. The leader expressed his feelings, saying, "I am so nervous that I can't even remember how I felt during my debut. Now that I am acting as the leader during promotions, I feel a heavy sense of responsibility to do well." He also expressed deep trust in his teammates, adding, "It wasn't too difficult because the members performed so well."

Visual transformations were also striking. Unlike their style during their first comeback, one member debuted an intense hair color that drew comparisons to an "animation character." He explained that they opted for a bold color, moving away from the light brown used during their previous comeback.

Various candid moments were captured on-site. During rehearsals, one member requested a microphone volume adjustment, noting that the mic was quieter than their own rap vocals.

Reuniting with fans and eyeing a world tour next year

The members expressed excitement as they reunited with fans (WIZ) at the showcase. Returning to the same venue after approximately 1 year and 10 months, they remarked, "We are happy to be able to show a new side of ourselves in this same place."

Along with their determination to create lasting memories for fans, The Wind raised expectations for the future by mentioning plans for a world tour next year. The members shared their ambition to stay close to their fans, vowing to be together for "100 years, a thousand years, and ten thousand years."
