ICHILLIN' J reveals behind-the-scenes of 'BANANA (Look At Me!)' MV
ICHILLIN' J shares a look at the filming process for their first digital single 'BANANA (Look At Me!)', featuring intense heat and first-time CG challenges.
The group ICHILLIN' J has released behind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot for their first digital single, 'BANANA (Look At Me!)'. The video captures the filming process across various locations, including a subway station, a studio, and a karaoke room, alongside candid conversations between the members.

From subway stations to the studio: Filming amidst sweltering heat
The video begins with the members filming their first scene, moving through a subway station. The shoot took place in sweltering conditions, with temperatures reaching between 35 and 36 degrees Celsius. The members were seen sweating even before filming began, and the footage captures unexpected situations on set along with their casual daily conversations. The shoot progressed from scenes of the members walking through the station to moving toward the studio.
The footage also captured small, personal moments from the members' daily lives. One member mentioned how she was managing swelling in her arms in the morning, which left marks, and shared that despite falling and hurting her knee before filming started, she was relieved she hadn't sprained her ankle. Additionally, the members were seen enjoying their spare time, helping each other pick out outfits, playing with glasses, and taking photos together.
First attempt using Chroma key: "Anticipating the CG results"
This music video features filming techniques that were new to the members. In the video, the cast reveals that scenes such as walking on a road or being in a karaoke room are being filmed using Chroma key techniques. The members expressed excitement for the vibrant backgrounds and CG results, stating, "This is our first time filming a music video where things like running scenes are all added via CG." As the karaoke scene is also being filmed with Chroma key, curiosity is building regarding what kind of glamorous location it will eventually become.
Highlighting the unit's activities and song characteristics
The footage also includes a scene where the members of ICHILLIN' J make a surprise appearance at their older members' music video shoot. Appearing briefly as a unit, they captured the lively atmosphere of the set. Regarding their song 'BANANA', the members explained, "It is an addictive song that people of all ages can enjoy," adding, "It is a very refreshing song that might make you think of the fruit banana, or the sentence 'You are my banana.'"
