DK and Boo Seungkwan overcome stage nerves with 'karaoke' mindset

Even amidst the tension ahead of the performance, their commitment to achieving a perfect stage was evident. The unit DxS, formed by DK and Boo Seungkwan, conducted a rehearsal before the show, meticulously checking stage movements, sound, and the composition of their solo stages.

Focusing on details, from replacing guitar picks to checking movements

The rehearsal proceeded rigorously, starting with sound checks. Efforts to increase perfection continued, such as requesting voice recordings to monitor the sound in the venue more accurately. After refining their breathing while practicing "Same Dream, Same Mind, Same Night" with the chorus, the two also carefully verified their movement paths on stage. In particular, they did not miss any movements to prevent unexpected situations, such as precisely sticking to marked positions while considering the timing of the door closing during their exit.

During the preparation process for DK's solo stage, detailed adjustments were noticeable. DK, who performs guitar while singing, received corrections for actions that might appear somewhat passive due to his focus on playing. Deciding that the pick used during performance was too light, he prepared for the best sound by deciding to switch to a thicker pick tomorrow. Boo Seungkwan also enhanced the stage's completeness by syncing the click sound timing for his solo song "Dream Serenade."

"Think of it as karaoke": Relaxation fueled by members' support

The tension on the day of the performance was eased by the support of the members. DK expressed nervousness about appearing via the lift, while Boo Seungkwan showed a calm attitude while remaining immersed in stage preparations. During this time, S.Coups and Mingyu, who visited the site to offer support, lent their strength. S.Coups empathized with the nervous DK, softening the atmosphere on site.

In particular, Mingyu gave advice to the nervous Boo Seungkwan, telling him, "Think of it as if you came to a karaoke room," urging him to relax. Boo Seungkwan accepted Mingyu's advice, saying, "It works well if I think of it as karaoke," and prepared to take the stage with the mindset of, "I'll let you hear me singing my song, so listen." Amidst the members' cheerful support, DxS completed all preparations for their first performance.
