An action drama about an ordinary father who transforms into a dangerous figure to seek revenge and save his daughter, the series garnered enthusiastic responses from viewers due to the passionate performances of actors including So Ji-sub and its fast-paced progression.

The viewership rating performance is unrivaled. Starting with a 9.5% viewership rating in the first episode, it surpassed 20% in just 4 episodes. It recorded a peak viewership rating of 23.1% and a peak minute viewership rating of 27.1%, maintaining a viewership rating in the 20% range for 7 consecutive episodes, marking one of the highest figures among dramas aired in 2026.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, this work secured both original fans and general viewers by bringing the 'Dad Universe' to life. In the final episode aired on July 25, the protagonist Agent Kim, having resolved all incidents, was shown heading to his new workplace, 'Baekho Manpower Agency.' During this process, the key character Lee Do-gyu appeared, presenting a narrative that leads into Season 2.
