Cho Jung-seok unboxes YouTube Silver Button, eyeing Gold Button
Actor Cho Jung-seok celebrates reaching 590,000 subscribers by unboxing his YouTube Silver Button and reminiscing about Gummy and Yoon Kyung-ho.
Actor Cho Jung-seok's YouTube channel, 'Channel Cho Jung-seok,' has officially received its Silver Creator Award to celebrate surpassing 100,000 subscribers. Cho shared the news with fans in a video where he unboxes the Silver Button alongside his staff.

Surpassing 590,000 subscribers: "We received the Silver Button late"
According to the video's subtitles and the cast's conversation, the application for the Silver Button was delayed after the channel hit the 100,000-subscriber milestone, resulting in the recent delivery. A staff member noted, "We were told we could receive the Silver Button once we hit 100,000 subscribers, but since Cho Jung-seok didn't apply, we applied for him." The staff also revealed that the channel has now reached 590,000 subscribers and is nearing the 600,000 mark. Upon inspecting the award, Cho expressed his gratitude, saying, "It is all thanks to you all."
Cho also shared his ambitions for the channel's growth. When asked if he would ever receive a Gold Button, he replied, "In my heart, I already feel like I've received the Gold Button," adding, "I will do my best to show you good content." He expressed his determination to reach the Gold Button milestone by citing the achievements of his colleagues.
Memorable moments with Gummy, Yoon Kyung-ho, and more
During the celebration, the group reminisced about memorable moments from the channel. Cho highlighted the episode featuring Gummy, which marked his first major performance after taking over the channel. "Gummy is the person closest to me and knows me best," he remarked, wittily recalling how she teased him by revealing his secrets during filming. Cho expressed his desire to host another special feature with her whenever she is willing.
He also discussed the hiking video filmed with actor Yoon Kyung-ho. Staff members noted that two videos (the hiking episode and the baeksuk episode) were released because the conversation during the hike was so lively that there was never a moment of silence. Regarding his recent appearances on other colleagues' channels, such as Jin Goo's, Cho expressed his appreciation for his peers, saying, "It is good to meet friends in the same profession and share important life values."
"Deeply moved" by a fan's comment from 15 years ago
At the end of the video, Cho took time to read comments from his subscribers. He was particularly moved by a comment from a fan who met him at the ticket booth for the play 'True West' in January 2011, writing, "I remember the memories from 15 years ago." Cho responded to the fan's enduring support, stating, "I am truly, truly grateful and moved."
