Kyochon F&B to host cooking experiences at Jeju & Kyochon Minivelo Festa

Kyochon F&B, the operator of Kyochon Chicken, announced on the 8th that it will host the Kyochon Food Zone and the Kyochon 1991 School cooking experience program at the Jeju & Kyochon Minivelo Festa. The event will take place from the 12th to the 13th near the Jungmun Golf Course in Seogwipo, Jeju.

The Jeju & Kyochon Minivelo Festa is a participatory tourism festival hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, organized by the Jeju Tourism Organization, and sponsored by the Korea Tourism Organization. Designed as a stay-based tourism experience that combines bicycle riding with Jeju travel and gourmet food, the festival is intended for a wide range of participants, from families with young children to cycling enthusiasts and general tourists. Kyochon aims to strengthen its connection with visitors through on-site programs integrated with local tourism.

During the event, Kyochon will set up a food zone within the Jungmun Golf Course to provide participants with its signature 'Honey Single Wings' and the popular 'Potato & Chips' side dish. On the 12th, the first day of the festival, the Kyochon 1991 School will offer children a unique opportunity to learn the brand's signature cooking process. Participants can practice the company's unique brush-painting method, where sauce is carefully applied to each piece of chicken using a brush, providing an engaging experience for the whole family.

The festival will also feature various riding and auxiliary programs. On the 12th, a 'Criterium Racing' competition will be held over a 1.7km section of the Jungmun Golf Course, alongside 'Emotional Riding,' which allows participants to ride leisurely through the course's natural scenery. On the following day, a coastal road riding program will start from Cheonjeyeon Falls and pass through iconic landmarks such as the Jusangjeolli Cliffs and Wolpyeong Port, offering scenic views of the Seogwipo coast.

Furthermore, dedicated programs for children, such as 'Learning Two-Wheeled Bicycles' and the 'Strider Cup,' will be available. The event will also feature an expo showcasing the latest bicycles and equipment, as well as various event booths including lucky draws and the 'Slow Riding Challenge.' Participants can apply through the official website, and free bicycle rentals will be available on-site.
