"The title track 'Break It' was decided with overwhelming support"... Behind-the-scenes of album production
YOUNGTAK revealed an anecdote regarding the selection process of the title track for this 3rd studio album. In the video, YOUNGTAK stated that he originally wanted to promote the song 'Penguin' as the title track, but the current title track was decided due to a suggestion from the company. He said, "I gave a powerful presentation, but no one agreed," adding, "In the end, the song 'Break It' became the title track." He continued, "After the title track was decided, we drew the overall image of the album using the keyword 'Break It'."

He also shared his reflections on his musical growth. YOUNGTAK said, "While making this album, I realized whether I was trying to settle for only doing what I am good at," and "I feel like I grew myself during the process of preparing the title track." Additionally, this album includes 'Heh Heh', a traditional trot song, and regarding the fans' reaction, he shared, "I wrote traditional trot for the first time, and many fans listened to it and liked it."
Stories about his past musical journey continued. YOUNGTAK mentioned his participation in the OST for the movie 'Marrying the Mafia 2' as the reason he entered the music industry. After solo activities and team activities, he participated in the 'Season Song' program, explaining that he entered the trot genre because the scope of activities of a fellow participant at the time was interesting. He mentioned that due to the characteristics of the trot genre, activities usually last about two months when a new song comes out, but for trot, one might work for about 3 years to make a single song a hit, and he stated that he gained confidence that he could make himself more known through this.
Anecdotes from his school days were also revealed. YOUNGTAK recalled the experience of forming a band with friends and preparing for a stage. The band name at the time was 'Nagari', and he shared a joking anecdote that they ultimately could not take the stage because the bass and guitar members took turns being absent.
In the video, YOUNGTAK drew attention by personally demonstrating the choreography for the title track 'Break It'. Performing this choreography, which was a collaboration between Baek Kooyoung and 1MILLION, YOUNGTAK performed movements using his joints during the highlight section. The cast watching this reacted, saying, "It looks like it would be harder than idol choreography," and "You are seasoned."
Regarding the choreography work, YOUNGTAK explained, "I continued to modify and worry about it until the dawn before the MV filming." He also mentioned that he used to enjoy singing animation music, mentioning the theme songs of Yu-Gi-Oh! and SpongeBob SquarePants.
YOUNGTAK also spoke specifically about his future activity plans. He announced that starting from October 3, he will hold the concert 'TAK SHOW', starting in Seoul and connecting to Jeonju, Incheon, Daegu, and Busan. YOUNGTAK expressed his gratitude to fans, saying, "When the blue lights turn on at a concert that has exceeded 70 shows, it feels real."
Regarding his musical taste, he expressed affection for band sounds. YOUNGTAK said, "Music with a band is the most fun," and "Unlike when I am active as a soloist, being with a band feels like a different switch inside me is being pressed."
