SUPER JUNIOR-D&E Reveals Newly Established 'O.D. Entertainment'... "A Startup That Started with Just One Desk"

SUPER JUNIOR-D&E (Donghae, Eunhyuk) shared their direction following their independence by revealing the space of their newly established agency, 'O.D. Entertainment'.

From a Seongsu-dong cafe to an office, O.D. Entertainment dreams of a space like a 'home'

In the released video, SUPER JUNIOR-D&E introduced the agency's space located in Seongsu-dong one by one. The first-floor space adopted a house-shaped design, and the members stated they want this place to give a 'home-like' feeling where fans can visit comfortably. In the video, the members explained the characteristics of the space, mentioning the interior of the cafe area and signature menus such as 'House Spanner' and 'Brain Coffee'. In particular, they captured the unique sensibility of Seongsu-dong by not having a separate cafe sign but using the logo symbol on the shutter itself.

The office space located on the 3rd floor is the workspace for 'O.D. Entertainment', and the members recalled that this was a 'startup' type that began with just one desk in a shared office in the past. Inside the office, there is a large monitor of about 100 inches for meetings, a resting area for employees, and phone booth spaces for employees' private or business calls.

"We burst through the door"... The moment of deciding independence in September 2023

The members spoke directly about the timing and reason they decided to leave SM Entertainment and become independent. In the video, describing the situation at the time, the members said, "We burst through the door," mentioning the timing of their independence as September 2023. At that time, Donghae and Eunhyuk met and made the decision, and since then, the two have taken on roles as directors of the agency.

In particular, the two reminisced about their relationship that has continued since their SM days in 2011. They revealed their long-standing relationship by recalling anecdotes such as starting from the days they lived together in a dormitory and traveling to Jindo together as soon as they returned to Korea from abroad. Donghae and Eunhyuk suggested that their current unit activities are the result of long-term preparation by mentioning past conversations where they promised to engage in duo activities this year.

"D&E 15th Anniversary Coming Soon"... Future activities and content plans

Teasers for future activities also followed. In the video, the members hinted at the upcoming anniversary by mentioning the phrase "D&E 15th Anniversary Coming Soon." Additionally, they revealed plans to produce various content, including the title content 'Far, Far Away Nara, Our D&E', which contains behind-the-scenes cuts that fans haven't seen.

Regarding the office interior, they said, "We are not filling it all at once, but filling it one by one," conveying that they are currently in the process of completing the space. The members introduced workspaces such as the recording studio (vocal room) and living room, expressing their determination for upcoming musical activities. In particular, they suggested they will continue their musical activities through the practice room for vocal training and the living room space.
