In celebration of the Chuseok holiday, Netflix has presented its "Chuseok Trustworthy Collection," a curated selection of titles spanning various genres. According to a video released on September 25, the collection is organized to coincide with the holiday period from September 20 to 27, encompassing both new releases and fan favorites.

New Releases: "Eden of the East" and "Unabomber: The Secret Experiment"

One of the major new releases in this collection, "Eden of the East," is a series that reinterprets John Steinbeck's masterpiece. The series follows the epic family history of the Trask family. Older brother Adam and younger brother Charles encounter a woman named Cathy; video subtitles capture a tense scene where Charles warns Adam, "We must get rid of her and kick her out. She will tear you to pieces." Cathy is depicted as a complex character who blurs the lines between good and evil while longing for power and freedom. The series is scheduled for release on October 1.

The crime thriller "Unabomber: The Secret Experiment" is based on a true story. The series tracks the transformation of Theodore Kaczynski, a Harvard genius, into one of history's most notorious bomb terrorists. Covering a case that resulted in the longest criminal manhunt in American history, it sheds light on how a brilliant mind once involved in psychological research ultimately fell into darkness.

Other titles recommended for holiday binge-watching include "The Final Investigation," "People and Meat," and "HUMINT." "The Final Investigation" is a crime procedural following Jung-ho, a rookie police officer with an impressive background. The series depicts Jung-ho facing an unexpected turn of events when a bloody weapon is discovered during an investigation into stolen church donations. The story follows his pursuit of the truth even when a suspect is already incarcerated.

"People and Meat," a drama exploring life in old age, portrays the bond between three lonely individuals. Woosik, Hyeong-jun, and Hwa Jin, who make a living collecting waste paper, form a connection through a chance encounter over a shared bowl of beef radish soup. The video captures how they form a regular gathering through "meat-dashing" (eating and running) to fill the voids in their solitary lives.

The Korean-style spy action drama "HUMINT" is set in Vladivostok. It tells the story of how NIS black agent Jungwon and Park Geon become entangled with Sun-hwa, an informant from North Korea, while investigating a human trafficking case. The footage highlights the tense situation where two men with differing beliefs and connections take action to protect Sun-hwa.
