According to the September 29, 2026, broadcast of JTBC's 'Han Moonchul's Dashcam Review' (released September 29, 2026), an accident occurred in a situation where vehicles were lined up long to enter a large mart. The informant in the video case was joined in the parking waiting line while waiting for their turn at the entrance of the large mart. The informant explained that the accident happened because a vehicle suddenly cut into the middle of the line while turning left from the opposite intersection.

Regarding the situation at the time, the informant said, "A vehicle turning left from the opposite intersection came in recklessly to cut into the line," and "I stopped because it felt like I would collide if I went any further, but that vehicle scratched my car as it came in." Regarding the attitude of the other driver immediately after the accident, the informant also reported, "After scratching my car, they showed an intimidating attitude, such as glaring at me instead."

In particular, the point of controversy is the handling process after the accident. According to the informant's explanation, the vehicle repair cost was approximately 800,000 won, but the repair cost for the other vehicle came to 2.4 million won. It is known that the other driver requested a personal injury claim (medical expense claim) to the informant's side through their insurance company. The informant expressed their grievance, saying, "It is very absurd that they cut in line, scratched my car themselves, and are even claiming medical expenses."
