Gallery Valt Cheongdam hosts 'Ways We Dream' exhibition

Rather than defining 'dreams' with a single meaning, works that unravel the concept through various perspectives—including memory, daily life, emotion, and imagination—have gathered in one place. Five artists present their unique interpretations of 'dreams' through diverse mediums, such as painting.

Gallery Valt Cheongdam is hosting the special exhibition 'Ways We Dream' through October 2. The exhibition features five artists: Jisook, Glavi, Ota, Seo-hui, and J.One (Jeil).

The exhibition is structured to expand the scope of dreams beyond mere future wishes or goals, exploring them through individual memories, emotions, and images formed in daily life.

Under the same theme, the participating artists utilize different subjects and modes of expression. Their works range from pieces exploring the inner self and emotions to natural and everyday landscapes, fairy-tale imagery, imaginary scenes, and vibrant color studies.

The gallery explained that the exhibition was organized to showcase how the common theme of 'dreams' is expressed differently by each artist through their diverse working methods and subjects.

An exhibition official stated, "While each artist's way of interpreting and expressing dreams is different, the exhibition is designed so that viewers can recall their own memories or wishes through the works."

Following this exhibition, Gallery Valt Cheongdam plans to continue hosting special exhibitions and programs that introduce both domestic and international artists.
