Singer Lee Yerin expressed feelings of regret and longing for her first love, her childhood desk mate. In a video from KBS 'TV Carries Love,' Lee embarked on a journey to find Kyung Shik Lee, her classmate from her elementary school days.

Lee served as the class president while Kyung Shik Lee was the vice president, maintaining a close relationship. Lee reminisced about her past behavior, confessing, "I teased him way too much." She admitted that because she was clumsy at expressing her affection, she resorted to mischievous actions like hitting his head or pinching him.

At the time, Lee was a diligent class president, while Kyung Shik Lee was an athletic vice president.

Lee specifically recalled actions she took to grab Kyung Shik Lee's attention. She shared an anecdote from a school field trip where students carved each other's names on stones; when Kyung Shik Lee showed no reaction, she demanded, "Carve my name and your name right now and bring it to me quickly," forcing him to carve their names alongside a heart pattern on a pebble. "Thinking about it now, I feel so sorry that I want to ask for forgiveness," Lee said, expressing sincere regret for her immature behavior. Recalling how they spent three years together, she added that her heart would flutter every time Kyung Shik Lee appeared as a class leader.

Whereabouts confirmed through a former classmate's mother

The tracking team searched for Kyung Shik Lee's whereabouts, focusing on Jangchung Elementary School. During the investigation, they met Kyung Shik Lee's mother, who warmly welcomed Lee (then known by her real name, Lee Jin-sook) as a former classmate. The mother revealed that Kyung Shik Lee is now married and even joked that it would be lovely if Lee married his son. Through the mother, it was confirmed that Kyung Shik Lee currently works near the Kia plant in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do (as mentioned in the video).

Through reenactments and recollections, Lee revealed her feelings for Kyung Shik Lee, who was an athlete at the time. "My heart fluttered every time Kyung Shik Lee came out as the class president (or vice president)," Lee said, citing her fondness for him as a reason they remained desk mates for three years. She also recalled watching him from a bus he used for sports practice and competitions.

A colleague at the site described him as a "manly and cool young man" and noted that he was currently working but would be in the breakroom shortly.
