Cho Kyu-chan and Haee reveal deep musical roots on variety show

Singers Cho Kyu-chan and Haee appeared together on a variety program, revealing that both sides of their families are composed of musicians.

During the episode of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together - I'm Glad I'm Not Alone' aired on the 7th, the couple made a joint appearance. Splitting their time between the United States and Korea, the two shared that this marks their first time appearing together on a variety show. During the broadcast, Jang Hang Jun brought laughter to the set by commenting on the couple's chemistry, noting, "I'm not sure since I film historical dramas, but it looks like a servant serving a young lady," in reference to Cho Kyu-chan's affection for Haee. When teased that he "hasn't aged at all," Cho Kyu-chan honestly replied, "I've been visiting the dermatologist diligently."

Son of 'Niliriri Mambo' composer Na Hwa-rang

Cho Kyu-chan's family is deeply connected to legendary figures in the Korean music industry. He revealed that his father is the composer Na Hwa-rang, a figure well-known to his parents' generation. Na Hwa-rang composed numerous masterpieces, including "Niliriri Mambo," "Green Grape Love," and "Fallen Tower of Love." Cho's siblings have also inherited this musical talent; all three brothers are active musicians, including his older brother Jo Gyu-cheon and Refresh (Cho Kyu-man), who is well-known for "I'll Give You Everything." The MCs, including Yoo Jae Suk, expressed admiration for the couple's incredible musical lineage on both sides.

Musical DNA spanning from sister So-i to cousin Paul Kim

Haee's family also boasts a brilliant musical background. She mentioned that her younger sister is So-i, formerly of the girl group T.T.Ma. She further surprised the studio by revealing that her sixth cousin is the singer Paul Kim; Haee's maternal grandmother and Paul Kim's maternal grandmother are sisters. Meanwhile, Haee shared an update on her professional life, noting that she is currently serving as an assistant professor in the English Department at a state university in the United States.
