South Korea's golf legend Se-ri Pak visited a historic market in Daejeon to taste local delicacies.

According to a video from the TV CHOSUN JOY program 'Home-Style Meal Travels', Se-ri Pak visited Yuseong Market in Daejeon and sought out a long-standing restaurant with nearly 110 years of history. Mentioning her connection to having lived in Daejeon until the age of 19, Se-ri Pak visited the traditional local restaurant.

The restaurant Se-ri Pak visited is located in Yuseong Market, which has been open for about 110 years, and the video captures the unique atmosphere of an old establishment, including earthenware pots and kettles that show the traces of time. Despite being 88 years old, the owner of the restaurant adheres to the process of personally preparing ingredients and mixing the seasoning.

The star of the menu that day was the 'head meat salad'. The restaurant owner demonstrated a method of slicing the meat and then immediately mixing it with seasoning along with vegetables such as lettuce. In the video, the owner is shown adjusting the seasoning to suit the customers' tastes while personally making the salad.

After tasting the head meat salad, Se-ri Pak mentioned characteristics that were different from seasoned dishes she had encountered before. Se-ri Pak said, "This is my first time eating something like this salad," and unlike typical seasoned dishes that have a spicy or sharp taste, she described the flavor of this food by saying, "the meat is very savory."

Furthermore, Se-ri Pak mentioned the large-cut vegetables and the owner's handmade touch, saying, "Since an elder is mixing it, I feel a lot of warmth." The video captures the process of the owner personally adjusting the seasoning and adding more vegetables, revealing the unique generosity of the market and the cooking method containing 60 years of expertise.

Meanwhile, the video also included conversations about her recent status, such as her activities as a golfer who gave hope to the people during the IMF era, and the difficulties of presenting golf as variety entertainment currently.
