TalesRunner expands 21st anniversary with new racing content

| NBNTV = Reporter Joo Hyun-woong | The PC online racing game 'TalesRunner' has introduced new content to celebrate its 21st anniversary alongside upcoming Chuseok events. The 'Magical Prisma' summer season event channel, which has been active since July, is also entering its final stage following its sixth update.

Raon Entertainment and Blomic, who jointly service 'TalesRunner,' announced the second update for the game's 21st anniversary, the sixth update for 'Magical Prisma,' and the rollout of 2026 Chuseok events.

The 21st-anniversary content features 'Octopus Dad and Retro Racing.' Players can participate via the Octopus Dad NPC in the park, recruiting racers using '21st Retro Racing Tickets' or 'Special Racer Pickup Tickets.' Once five racers are recruited, the race begins, and players can earn rewards based on their results.

The final 'Magical Prisma' update includes 'Priming's Jijimon Card Game,' a 1-on-1 matchmaking mode where players take turns flipping two cards to find matching pairs. Finding a match allows for additional flips, and players can earn 'Jijimon Card Fragments' based on their performance. Additionally, 'Limit Break! Priming's Magic Special Training' has been updated with new missions and Advanced 3 achievement point rewards.

Two new maps will also be released sequentially. 'Face It! Giga Zechronium (★x6)' is a boss raid map requiring an attack power of at least 1,100 and a magic power of at least 940 to enter. 'Run, Run! Fresh and Sweet!' is set during the final festival at Facet Magic School, where players race alongside carriages to earn points; it is scheduled for release on the 23rd at 9 AM.

The Chuseok event will run until October 7. At the '2026 Chuseok Exchange,' players can collect words from '26 Chuseok Word Boxes' obtained through Tales Book missions to exchange for items like 'Saekdong Lucky Pouches,' 'Saekdong Kite,' and 'Songpyeon Baskets.' An attendance event starting on the 21st will offer rewards such as '26 Chuseok Rabbit Coins.'
